I wrote a couple of weeks ago on how you can sponsor a child for free through Compassion International. If my post wasn't convincing enough, I have a friend that I met through nannying a few years back who decided to make the call to become a correspondent sponsor.
The time-frame can vary on how soon you get a child, but for Anonymous Nanny at Nanonymously Yours it only took two weeks! She just got her packet in the mail today and saw the most precious little girl from India! In fact, when she logged in to her account, she realized that she was assigned two girls from India! What a fantastic surprise!
